Paintings

A beautiful bouquet that never wilts. Dodd created many beautiful flower paintings.
A painting from the 1960s that Mom painted for me. She told me that the background is based on a doodle I left on the kitchen table. Mom often considered her paintings unfinished, so did not always sign them. This one is signed!
Dodd’s impression of Land’s End in Great Britain. A gorgeous composition!
Dodd’s self portait of herself as a child in Connecticut. Mom had beautiful blue eyes.
Dodd never liked this painting, but I did. She never displayed it, but I love it. This was an assignment, to paint a self portrait, when she was in Art School in New York. The students had to make the paints they used from scratch.
