Mom was born in Mt. Vernon, New York, in late January, 1911. After she married, she lived in Teaneck, New Jersey. Her mother, Elsa Williamson, and her sister Ingrid and her family lived in Teaneck, also. The setting is a porch at the parsonage of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church on Church St. in Teaneck, where Dodd’s husband, Al, was pastor.
